Experience Language Studio
~ Learning Chinese is Fun ~
StudioIt is small but has many bells and whistles, including a variety of Chinese textbooks, bilingual story and information books for both adults and children. We believe there is a better way to learn Chinese language. We welcome both teachers and students to visit our studio to find one of the best methods and materials for teaching or learning. | Logo for “说中文,走天下”Mission Statement: Enhance acquisition with interesting stories. Color-coded blank blocks can be used for the topic for each learning session. |
Publication by 说中文,走天下'We have books, "Shu in the 4th tone", "Gou in the 3rd tone", and bundles of teaching materials and worksheets. | Grammar Point AlbumWe use 4x6 photo album to gather grammar points. The photo shows the function for 来 and the collage for time particles, such as "不 vs 没" and "要,在,了" that can imply the difference in tenses. | Sticker CollageSticker Collage is for our Level I classes, a 12-session class for children and a 16-session class for adults. |
Wall PostersWe are continuously improvising whatever we have. Here is an example that we use Melissa&Doug Reusable Sticker Pads, labeled in Chinese, to enrich our language environment. | Vocab BoosterWe use many tools to increase both the quantity and quality of vocabulary. We believe there is a better way to improve the acquisition and retention of major vocabulary for a foreign language. Here is an example - the 2016 Award-winning game, Codenames, is played in our studio. We play its rule but use our own common phrases in Chinese. | Final ParticleFinal particle is one of the most intimate expressions in Chinese. How can we distinguish the intricacy of 好呀 from 好嘛 or 好吧? We use a set of flash cards coupled with our own comics, so learners can quickly capture the concept. |
